We, at First Presbyterian Church, are called to worship, actively participating and seeking to respond to God's call for a personal relationship.

We, at First Presbyterian Church, seek to provide the environment and context to meet the needs of all members of our church throughout their faith development.

Mission

We, at First Presbyterian Church, seek to live out our responsibility of Christian service by discerning, equipping, and sending one another to join God in God's work in the world. We understand the world to include the downtown Rock Hill community, the greater Rock Hill community and the region, the national community and the global community. To be in Christian service to the Rock Hill, regional, national and global communities we must DISCERN the nature of God's call, EQUIP ourselves for the call, and SEND ourselves to serve each of these areas of need.

This congregation is a member congregation of Providence Presbytery, in the Synod of the South Atlantic, of the Presbyterian Church (U. S. A.). Through governing bodies the congregation cooperates with Christians everywhere in the work of the Holy Catholic Church.
