Welcome to our church! We offer Sunday School for everyone! We would like to invite you to join us as we explore the Bible, share our faith, and grow together through Sunday morning church school!

Our Sunday schedule is as follows:

To help you, we have compiled this general overview of the classes that we offer. If you have further questions, please see our Sunday School greeter in the Narthex.

INFANTS & CHILDREN

CRIB ROOM(0-2 yrs.): Rm. 116
We play with toys, read books, listen to music, and have a snack. We learn that Jesus loves each of us, and that we are supposed to share with each other.

PRESCHOOL (3 & 4 yrs.): Rm. 119
We enjoy lots of love and lots of play time--and we do both. We play, have a brief lesson with a craft, have snack, and play some more.

KINDERGARTEN & FIRST GRADE: Rm. 124
We learn about God’s presence and love. We learn through Bible stories, songs, plays, and by creating visual reminders of the stories learned.

SECOND & THIRD GRADE: Rm.228
We enjoy learning about prayer, worship, and stewardship through Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments.

FOURTH & FIFTH GRADE: Rm. 226
We study the Bible through discussion, fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and current events. Come discover the Bible with us!

We welcome you to join any of our classes for ADULTS Stick with one, or try them all--it’s up to you!

BEREAN CLASS: Parlor (second floor)
We use study material based on the Cooperative Uniform Series, which includes daily scripture readings that lead up to the scripture lesson for Sunday mornings. The goal of our class is for both teachers and learners to come together to reflect on the biblical text and to act upon what they discover from it.

ISSUES & QUESTIONS: Rm. 223
Our class is a mixture of couples and singles, of all ages and life stages. We study the Bible in relation to present day issues, and we study various Bible lessons directly as well. We especially enjoy class discussion and sharing ideas and opinions, as we grow to be more enlightened Christians in today’s world.

SEEKERS: Rm. 227
We are a Bible-oriented class which offers open discussion and new perspectives. Singles and couples are welcome. Our class is taught by a rotation of several class members. Our goal is to make the Bible relevant to our daily lives. We are continually seeking ways to serve the church and community.

YOUNG ADULT CLASS: Rm. 225
We gather for Bible study, fellowship, and sharing. We use a study of the Bible to solve everyday struggles and challenges.

From time to time Adult Sunday School SHORT COURSES are offered on topics of special interest. Also, are offered on topics of special interest. Also, NEW MEMBERS’ CLASSES are organized periodically throughout the year. Please check with our Director of Youth Ministry and Christian Education, Loli Reiter, about any "special" Sunday School learning opportunities currently being offered or planned.

YOUTH

MIDDLE SCHOOL: Rm. 221
We are 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th graders. Our weekly discussions relate to daily life, current events, and life in Biblical times.

SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: Rm. 222
We always have a good-sized class each Sunday, and we’re really proud of that. We vary our lessons between Bible Study, real world issues, and youth concerns. We have good discussion, participation, games, stories, and more!

YOUTH GROUP MEETINGS: Sundays (usually 6 PM)
Whether it’s hanging out in the Youth Lounge or piling into the church’s van for an outing, First Pres youth groups = fun, fellowship, and lifelong friendships plus faith development and Christian service opportunities... How about a summer mission trip to challenge yourself to experience new places and learn new skills, and all the while enjoy sharing your own talents with others less fortunate -- come and see for yourself!
