WELCOME to First Presbyterian Church! We strive to make sure your visit with us is a
positive and enriching experience. Finding your way around - Our facility consists of two major
buildings, the Sanctuary, which sits on the corner of Main & Saluda Streets, and the Ministry Center, the
two story building sitting behind the Sanctuary. The Narthex is the area that connects these two
buildings. Worship - We have our worship service every Sunday at 11 a.m. Sunday School classes are
held for all ages at 10:00 am in the Ministry Center. Maps and class listings are posted throughout the
building. Nursery (located downstairs in the Ministry Center) - Childcare for children Birth - 5 years is
available during worship services. Restrooms are located on both levels of the Ministry Center.
Congregational Information - Our church is a member of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A., the largest
Presbyterian/Reformed denomination in the United States. Founded in 1854, we are one of the oldest and
largest Presbyterian Church U.S.A. congregations in York County with approximately 500 members.
